78 Cards. Zero Pretension.

BroTarot

The Deck for People Who'd Never Buy a Tarot Deck

Same ancient wisdom. Same card structure. Different energy.
Solo Cups. Gains. Hot Takes. Grills.
Turns out the universe speaks bro when you ask it right.

✦ ◆ ✦
The Origin Story

You've Heard of Tarot.
You Immediately Ignored It.

Which is fair. A lot of tarot is velvet cloaks and crystal shops and imagery that makes you feel like you wandered into someone else's spiritual awakening.

"The cards don't care what aesthetic you show up in. They just ask: what's actually going on with you right now?"

BroTarot is the same 78-card system used for 600+ years, rebuilt for people who would rather high-five their way through an existential crisis than sit with a stranger in incense fog. Same cards. Funnier names. Aesthetics you might actually hang on your wall.

✦ ◆ ✦
The Four Suits

Every Classic Suit.
Finally Named Correctly.

Solo Cups
Cups / Water

Feelings, relationships, what you actually want underneath the thing you say you want.

Grills
Wands / Fire

Ambition, momentum, the drive that wakes you up at 3am with a stupid idea that turns out to be good.

Gains
Pentacles / Earth

Money, work, the physical world — what you're actually building when you show up every day.

Hot Takes
Swords / Air

Thoughts, conflict, the voice in your head that's sometimes right and often just loud.

✦ ◆ ✦
The Major Arcana

The Big Cards.
Better Names.

The 22 Major Arcana are the heavy hitters — life events, archetypal forces, the moments you'll tell people about later. Here's how they translate:

The FoolThe New Guy
The MagicianThe Main Character
The High PriestessThe One Who Just Knows
The EmperorThe Alpha (Constructive)
The TowerThe Plot Twist
The SunThe Good Times
JudgementThe Glow-Up
The WorldThe Champ
StrengthThe Cool Head
The HermitThe Night In
DeathThe Season Finale
The StarThe Vision Board

Wait, But What Does Tarot Actually Do

It's Not Magic.
It Is Useful.

Tarot is a structured system for asking yourself better questions. Each card is a lens. You pick a card, you read what it means, and somewhere in the translation your brain figures out what it actually thinks.

Decision Fatigue?

Pull a card. It forces your brain off the hamster wheel and into a concrete image. You'll know immediately if the reading "doesn't fit" — which tells you exactly what you actually wanted.

Actually a Game

The structure is 78 cards, 4 suits, 22 big archetypes. It's a system with rules and symbols, like any card game. You can learn it the same way.

Works Solo or In a Group

Pull one card as a daily vibe check. Use it as a conversation starter. It's also weirdly great at parties — way more interesting than "Two Truths and a Lie."

The Campaign

Here's Exactly
How This Works

There are two versions of BroTarot. One exists right now. One needs 258 humans to exist.

Pre-Order Progress 12%
31 pre-orders so far Goal: 258 to greenlight

The Math, Plainly:

We're funding the artist and the real print run transparently. No "stretch goals" theater.

$7,800

Illustrator cost at $100/card across all 78 cards

$3,010

1,000-unit print run via QinPrinting, shipped to your door

$42

Net margin per $45 pre-order (after production)

258

Pre-orders needed to fully fund production and hire the artist

We have 1,000 units in the first print run. Once those 258 pre-orders lock in the funding, the remaining 742 units become pure upside. Every pre-order is a vote that the fancy version should exist. If we don't hit the goal, everyone gets a full refund — no questions, no awkward explanations.

Questions

Good Questions.
Real Answers.

Do I need to know tarot to use this?

Nope. Each deck comes with a guidebook explaining what each card means in plain language. You'll be up and running in an afternoon. The system is intuitive once someone actually explains it without the mysticism layer on top.

What if you don't hit 258 pre-orders?

Full refunds. No campaign. No complicated partial-delivery situation. The AI deck stays available regardless — that version exists independently. But the fancy illustrated deck only ships if we greenlight the production run.

How long until the illustrated deck ships?

Rough timeline: 4–6 months after greenlighting. Finding the right illustrator takes a few weeks, art takes 3–4 months, production takes 4–6 weeks. We'll send updates along the way — card art previews, production photos, the full thing.

Is this just for guys?

The name says bro. The deck is for anyone. "Bro culture" at its best is unpretentious, physical, direct, and quietly loyal. Those are qualities, not a gender. If that aesthetic speaks to you, this deck is for you.

What makes the AI deck different from the fancy one?

Same card system, different art. The AI deck is print-on-demand — it's available now, it's functional, the art is legitimately interesting. The fancy deck will have original commissioned illustration, higher-quality card stock, and art built specifically for this deck by a human artist who cares about it.

Can I use a standard tarot guide with this deck?

Yes. The card numbering and suit structure are standard. Any traditional tarot guide will map onto BroTarot — you just have to mentally translate "Cups" to "Solo Cups" and "Pentacles" to "Gains." The meanings are the same.
